1.0.3 - September 2026

Requires macOS 14.4 or later. Drop your own context onto a meeting, name the voice that is speaking, and a set of reliability fixes.

Meeting context

Drop emails, PDFs and Word documents from Outlook or Finder onto a meeting; the pre-meeting summary builds from what you add and updates with every drop.
Drop an Outlook meeting onto its own tile to fill in the organizer, attendees and description.
Outlook email scanning has been retired; dropped context replaces it and nothing runs in the background.

Speakers

Name the voice that is speaking right now with the “Who is this?” control; names carry through to the transcript, the summary and the exported minutes.
One unnamed voice at a time, so a voice that was split by mistake no longer scatters across colours.

Meetings

Attendee lists show the full count and expand past ten people.
Plain-language names throughout: Local AI, Transcription and Speaker detection, with technical details kept in Settings.
Release notes show as sections in the What’s-new card and in Settings.
The database backups list in Settings is collapsed by default.

Fixes

Starting a session no longer waits on the microphone; a stalled microphone could hang the start and lose a meeting.
Starting a session while another app holds the Local AI port no longer stops Brieva’s backend.
PDF drops now work in the installed app.
No more crash on quit while a drop overlay was open.
The live transcript’s word-by-word reveal is continuous within a bubble.
If the audio helper dies mid-session it restarts itself and the session carries on.

Name each speaker while a session is running - the names carry through to the transcript, the summary and the exported minutes.
Merge speech groups that turned out to be the same person.
Attendance lists show people’s names instead of raw email addresses.
The day’s action-items panel is resizable, with matching meeting colors and no repeated items.
A summary that fails now retries instead of leaving a half-finished result.
The live transcript reveals itself word by word, with a smoother volume meter and clearer wording when a license needs attention.
