Brieva is built on one idea: your meetings are none of our business. This policy is short because there is very little to disclose — the app collects nothing, and this website collects almost nothing.

The app

Brieva runs entirely on your Mac. We have no servers that receive your data, no accounts, no telemetry, and no analytics inside the app.

• Your calendar, emails, audio, transcripts, and summaries never leave your Mac. Transcription and summarization run on-device, on Apple Silicon.
• The app's only network traffic is downloading AI models (2.5–5 GB, typically once) from huggingface.co. Like any download, that request exposes your IP address to the hosting CDN — it contains nothing about you or your meetings.
• Audio is not stored. In native capture mode the live transcript is the only record; no audio files are written.
• All app data lives in a local database under your macOS user account. Deleting the app and its Application Support folder removes it completely.

This website

• No analytics or tracking scripts. We don't use cookies for tracking.
• Hosting logs. Our hosting provider ([HOSTING PROVIDER]) keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser user agent, pages requested) for security and abuse prevention.
• Purchases. Payment is handled entirely by our payment processor ([PAYMENT PROCESSOR]), acting as merchant of record. We never see your card details. We receive your email address and order details so we can deliver your license key and provide support.
• Support email. If you write to us, we keep the correspondence so we can help you. We don't add you to marketing lists.

Your data, your rights
