Brieva

Your meetings, in your pocket

Last updated: September 15, 2026

Brieva for iPhone and iPad carries the meetings from your Mac with you: every transcript, summary and set of minutes, readable and searchable wherever you are - including offline. It syncs directly from your Mac over your own network, so your meetings still never touch a server.

All names and meetings shown are fictional.

Pair once, with a QR code

On the Mac, choose Connect iPhone or iPad in Settings; on the phone, scan the QR code it shows. That is the whole setup - no account to create, no email to confirm. You can disconnect either side at any time, and the meetings already on the phone stay readable.

Sync without a server

Your iPhone talks directly to your Mac over your own local network, and the connection between them is encrypted. There is no cloud in the middle, no relay, and no copy of your meetings anywhere but on your own devices. When you are away from your network, nothing syncs - and nothing needs to, because the meetings already on the phone work fully offline. New and updated meetings, including the two weeks ahead on your calendar, arrive the next time both devices are home.

Reading and searching

The iPad split view - again, everything shown is fictional.

Privacy, same rules as the Mac

The app collects nothing - no analytics, no account, no server of ours to send anything to. Meetings on the phone are stored in the app’s own protected storage. Deleting a meeting on the Mac removes it from the phone on the next sync; deleting the app removes everything on the phone.

Getting it

Brieva for iPhone and iPad is free on the App Store - included with your Brieva licence at no extra cost - and works with Brieva 1.0.5 or later on the Mac. Not paired yet? Tap See an Example on the first screen to look around with example meetings first.
